First Saturday of Each Month, 8 AM
Our men get together for breakfast and fellowship in the MPAC building at 8:00 am on the first Saturday of each month. There are three teams that rotate to cook breakfast. They are always looking for ways to be helpful to our church and community. They often do fundraisers, such as Fish Fries, to raise money to pay for projects they are involved in at the church and in the community.
Our men's group has a strong tradition of participating in mission trips to help repair homes that have been damaged by hurricanes. They have their own trailer to haul tools and are involved in all aspects of home repair including roofing, sheet rock, flooring, painting, electrical, and plumbing. They have traveled to Morehead City, NC, Swan Quarter, NC, and Clyde, NC. They also help to build wheelchair ramps for people in the Oak Hill community. Locally, they assisted in remodeling the downstairs of the old Oak Hill Ruritan building to provide a more suitable meeting place for the Boy Scouts.
